Ouachita River Crossings

U.S. Highway 67 (the old highway from Little Rock to Texarkana) crosses a long, deep pool in the Ouachita. This pool, or 'hole,' seems to be about 3/4 to 1 mile long on the map. This is a view upstream from underneath the bridge. On the extreme right is a boat with outboard motor on a trailor on the boat ramp. A man was checking out the motor and his wife was there to help. There is plenty of parking room under the bridge.
